| Abstract |
Background. This article discusses the basic principles for the development of strategies for the innovative development of industrial enterprises; analyzed statistical data characterizing the general state of the industry, as well as the level of innovative activity of industrial enterprises through the analysis of regional indicators. The aim of the work is to identify the general trends of innovative development of industrial enterprises.
Materials and methods. The authors propose to assess the innovative potential through two categories of parameters: explicit and latent. The basis of the methodology of this study is the correlation and regression analysis.
Results. The authors identified a general trend of innovative industrial development in the regions of Russia. The presented results can be used to conduct a regional policy aimed at the implementation of the May Presidential decrees.
Conclusions. The authors of the article emphasize that the strategy of innovative development of industrial enterprises should be aimed at improving the competitiveness of high-tech products of Russian origin. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to those regions that have the largest unrealized innovative potential in industry.
